Guided historical and ecological hike in Delaware Water Gap
2 Hour, Easy Hike. Reservations required at least a day in advance. Great for all ages!
Walk on one of the most famous trails in the world, the Appalachian Trail. This hike takes place in an area rich with human history, scenic beauty, and
offers spectacular views of the Delaware Water Gap. We will walk along
mountain streams surrounded by mountain laurel and native plants that
thrive in the Appalachian Mountains. We also will explore a hidden waterfall, a
lake, and an area that was once home to the Lenni Lenape natives. This hike also touches on the legacy of Delaware Water Gap's
vacation boom of the 19th century- plus you will get to see how nature is recovering from
mans' impact.
What you will need: Sneakers or hiking shoes, weather appropriate clothing, camera if you like.
We supply bottled water and a light snack on the trail.
$25 per person.

The Waterfall Tour
3 - 4 Hours. Reservations required at least a day in advance.
Beat
the
summer heat on this trip through the Delaware Water Gap National
Recreation Area. This tour will include a 1.5 hour hike on a beautiful little known trail through a dense old-growth forest that contains a
gorge with a seemingly endless set of falls and rapids. We will then
voyage by van to another hidden fall only a quick walk away. Note:
this trip does not go to Bushkill Falls – and be sure to bring your
camera!
You will need: Sneakers or hiking shoes and weather appropriate clothing.
We supply bottled water and a light snack on the trail.
$35 Per Person ($25 if combined with any other tour).
